Support, at your pace

You are not alone

What is happening to you matters. If someone hurts you, scares you or makes you feel unsafe, you can find a few steps towards help here. You do not have to know what to call the situation to ask for support.

Let’s understand what is happening

Answer only what you want to. This questionnaire can help you notice a pattern, but it cannot diagnose a situation or replace help from a trusted adult. You can ask for help even if you are unsure of your answers.

Your answers stay only in this page’s memory. They are not sent or saved. You can skip any question.

I want to talk to an adult

02 /

What can I do now?

  1. Tell an adult you trust: a parent, teacher, class teacher, counsellor or relative.
  2. Explain what happened, when and where. You do not have to prove anything on your own.
  3. If it happens online, keep the messages or screenshots and ask for help before replying.
  4. If you feel unsafe, go somewhere with a trusted adult.

03 /

How can I help a friend?

  1. Listen without judging.
  2. Tell them it is not their fault that someone is hurting them.
  3. Encourage them to talk to a trusted adult.
  4. If there is danger, ask an adult for help immediately. Do not try to solve it on your own through confrontation.

I need a moment to feel calmer

Look around and silently name 5 things you can see, 4 things you can feel and 3 sounds you can hear. Then breathe out slowly.

An optional exercise for this moment. It does not stop bullying or replace support.

Talk to someone

You could start with: “Something is happening that makes me feel unsafe. I need you to listen and help me.” If the first adult does not help, talk to another.

What is bullying?

Bullying is behaviour that hurts, happens repeatedly and involves an imbalance of power: the person targeted finds it hard to defend themselves. It can include insults, exclusion, physical aggression or online behaviour. A conflict or a single incident can also be serious. You do not need to label it to ask for help.
